Wordle Unlimited: play as many words as you like

One puzzle a day not enough? Vowelkit Unlimited gives you a fresh five-letter word every round, with the same rules you know, and no limit on how many you play.

Unlimited five-letter word puzzles

Unlimited mode picks a random word from 869 common five-letter answers every round. The rules are the Wordle rules you know: six guesses, green for the right spot, yellow for the wrong spot and grey for letters that are not in the word. Finish a round and the next word is one tap away.

Challenge a friend on the same word

After each round you can send the exact word you just played to a friend or family member. They get a link, play the same word, and see whether they beat your score. The word itself is never shown in the link or the preview, so there are no spoilers. Beating a friend's challenge earns bonus XP and the Challenger badge.

Practise to improve your daily score

  • Try different opening words and notice which ones reveal the most letters. Our tested list of the best starting words is a good place to start.
  • Play a few rounds in hard mode to train yourself to use every clue.
  • Use hints sparingly: each one reveals a letter but reduces the XP for the round.

Unlimited rounds count toward your XP, level and badges, but not toward your daily streak or the leaderboard.

Frequently asked questions

Is this Wordle Unlimited free?
Yes. Vowelkit Unlimited is free to play in any browser, as often as you like, with no account and no app to install.
Is Vowelkit the official Wordle?
No. Vowelkit is an independent word game with its own word lists, scoring and badges. The official Wordle is published by The New York Times.
How is Unlimited different from the daily puzzle?
The daily puzzle is one word for everyone and counts for your streak and the leaderboard. Unlimited gives you a new random word every round and counts for XP, levels and badges.
Can I play with longer or shorter words?
Yes. Try 3, 4, 6, 7 or 8 letter words, an easier kids mode, or make your own puzzle for a friend.
