Terms of use

Last updated: 7 October 2026

These terms apply when you use www.vowelkit.com. Vowelkit is run by Muhammad Afzaal Afzal (details in the legal notice). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What Vowelkit offers

Vowelkit offers free word games (the daily puzzle, unlimited rounds, other lengths, kids mode, custom puzzles and the archive) and free word tools (unscrambler, anagram solver, word finder, word lists and solvers). You can use everything without an account. An account is optional and only syncs your progress between devices.

2. Fair use

Please use Vowelkit as a person playing or looking up words. You may not:

  • use bots, scripts or other automated means to play, submit scores or copy the site or its word lists;
  • manipulate the leaderboard, for example with many player IDs, shared answers sent in by script, or changed requests;
  • try to break, overload or get around the security of the site or its servers;
  • use the site for anything unlawful.

3. Nicknames and names you share

A leaderboard nickname is shown publicly. Names you add to a challenge link are shown to anyone who opens that link. Do not use names that are offensive, hateful, sexual, pretend to be someone else, or contain personal details such as a full name, phone number or address. We may change or remove a nickname, remove scores, or block a player ID that breaks these terms, without notice.

4. Accounts

If you create an account, keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can stop using your account at any time and ask us to delete it. Children under 16 should only create an account or set a nickname with a parent's permission.

5. Word lists and tool results

Our word lists are built from ENABLE (public domain) and SCOWL (Copyright 2000-2016 Kevin Atkinson). We do our best to keep them accurate, but other games use their own dictionaries. We cannot promise that a word our tools suggest will be accepted in another game, or that a list is complete.

6. Our content

The Vowelkit name and logo, the design, the texts, the puzzles and the code belong to us. You may share your results, challenge links and screenshots. You may not copy the site or large parts of it, or present it as your own.

Wordle is a trademark of The New York Times Company. Scrabble is a trademark of Hasbro in the US and Canada and of Mattel elsewhere. Words With Friends is a trademark of Zynga. Jumble is a trademark of Tribune Content Agency. GamePigeon and its Word Hunt game belong to their developer. Vowelkit is an independent site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any of them.

7. Changes and availability

Vowelkit is free and offered as it is. We may change, pause or end features, modes or the whole site at any time. We try to keep it running but cannot promise that it is always available or free of errors.

8. Liability

We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where the German Product Liability Act applies. For slight negligence we are only liable if we break an obligation that is essential for using the service, and then only for typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise our liability is excluded. Because the service is free, the legal rules for gifts (section 521 of the German Civil Code) also apply.

9. Law

German law applies. If you use Vowelkit as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live still apply to you.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features. The date at the top shows the latest version. Questions? Write to hello@vowelkit.com.
