How to score more
- Hunt for the triple word squares. They sit closer to the middle than in Scrabble, so a medium word can reach them early.
- Make two words at once. Playing parallel to an existing word scores both. Short words are the key: see the 2 letter words.
- Do not waste the S. An S that adds a plural to a long word on a bonus square is often worth more than a new word.
- Playing the classic board game? Its letter values differ, so use the Scrabble word finder.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I use the Words With Friends cheat?
- Type the tiles on your rack, with ? for a blank, and press Find words. Every playable word appears with its Words With Friends tile points, highest first.
- Are Words With Friends points different from Scrabble?
- Yes. Several letters score differently. For example B, C and M are worth 4 in Words With Friends and 3 in Scrabble, J is worth 10 instead of 8, and H is worth 3 instead of 4.
- Which words are allowed?
- Words With Friends started from the public ENABLE word list and has added words over time. This tool uses ENABLE, so almost every result is playable, but a few newer words like ZA are not included yet.
- Do the points include bonus squares?
- No. The points are tile values only. Use them to compare words, then place the best one on a double or triple square.
