- Type the six outer letters in any order, or paste all seven letters at once with the center first.

- Want hints rather than answers? Look only at the counts by length, then go back to the puzzle and find them yourself.

| Word | Points |

| 6 letters | 6 |
| 7 letters and up | 1 per letter |
| Pangram | Length + 7 |
Tips for finding more words
- Start with endings. If the letters include I, N and G, try -ING on every root you have. With E and D, try -ED. One root often gives three or four words.
- Hunt the pangram early. It is worth the most and usually contains the rarest letters. Look for a common ending first, then fit the other letters in front.
- Double letters count. Words like TOOT or ATTAIN reuse letters, and many players forget to try them.
- Shuffle the letters. Seeing the outer letters in a new order often shows a word you missed.

Frequently asked questions
- How does the Spelling Bee solver work?
- It checks every word in our word list against the puzzle rules: at least four letters, only the seven puzzle letters (each can repeat), and the center letter in every word. Words that use all seven letters are marked as pangrams.
- How do I find the pangram?
- Enter the seven letters and press Find all words. Pangrams are listed first, in their own row. Most puzzles have one or two, and every puzzle has at least one.
- How are Spelling Bee points counted?
- A four-letter word scores 1 point. Longer words score 1 point per letter, so a six-letter word is worth 6. A pangram earns 7 bonus points on top, so a seven-letter pangram scores 14.
- Why does the solver show words the puzzle does not accept?
- The New York Times picks the accepted words for each day by hand and leaves out many rare, technical and offensive words. Our list is a full word game dictionary, so it shows more. Tick Everyday words only to see the words most likely to count.
- Is this the official Spelling Bee?
- No. Spelling Bee is a New York Times game. Vowelkit is an independent site: this tool finds words for any seven letters you type, from any puzzle.
- Can I share a puzzle with a friend?
- Yes. After you press Find all words, the page address holds your letters. Send it, and the same letters and results open for them.
